Mt 12:1-8


The disciple’s actions have nothing to do with work. They are hungry. Jesus cites David and his followers breaking the same law for the same reason, hunger. He makes clear that the Pharisees are not properly interpreting the law. Jesus is the authoritative interpreter of God’s law.


You gave me life and continue to sustain my life. I pray that I live in accordance with your will for me.
